The program offers eight asynchronous modules on academic skills and three on career development to support career decision making. Access them on your time for self-guided learning.
• Become Research Ready: Explore research in the liberal arts and sciences by learning about the research process and examples from different fields. Discover strategies for connecting with faculty mentors and exploring campus research activities and opportunities.
• Explore College Classroom Environments and Expectations : Get ready for the LAS academic environment by reviewing general information and features of the college classroom.

• UIC Roadmaps: Discover resources available to students through our themed resource cards. Students can explore services and information related to career development, financial literacy, mental health support, academic centers, and more.
• Connect with Faculty: Review strategies to build partnerships with LAS faculty for diverse interests to promote meaningful experiences and growth. Topic areas include classroom support, mentorship, and research guidance.
