Learning Resource Centers Heading link
UIC offers several learning supports to enhance students’ classroom experiences! Subject areas include: Writing, Math, Science, and Language Students can meet one-on-one or in groups with graduate or undergraduate students to suit your learning preferences. The staff are trained and have taken the very courses you are in, so they can share all the inside scoop on how to succeed. You also can use these spaces to learn new study strategies!
PRO TIP: Sometimes, students wait until they are not doing well in a class to make a visit to a learning center. Don’t wait to get help! Even if you are doing great, it is always helpful to talk through concepts and ideas with another person or use it as a space to have someone check your work. When you go for a visit, be sure to bring materials like your textbooks, syllabus, and notes!
